After FIAP closed its headquarters in the city of Paris, its president, Riccardo Busi, considered that all the activities that develop the FIAP should have a greater diffusion and irradiation among all its Operational Members, the photo clubs and their photographers and sympathizers.
As a result, the FIAP Exhibition Centers have been created to be the spokespersons, in every place where FIAP is present, of the activities organized by this. The photographic exhibitions allow making known the photographers and their works allowing to see how the photographic activity evolves around the world. The life of the Exhibition Centers is not only based on exhibiting images and photographic collections of the most diverse subjects but also on giving lectures and photographic talks to comment on the works that are exhibited in them. Photographic exchanges are the most important aspect of the knowledge that is developed in them. It is extremely important to give life and movement to all the FIAP Centers. In all the exhibitions that are exposed, the FIAP Auspices can be granted, these are free of charge and give greater prestige to the exhibitions held in the Centers.
In short: the Exhibition Centers are the "Ambassadors of the FIAP".
