JESÚS M. GARCÍA FLORES
SOTA EL MATEIX CEL
UNDER THE SAME SKY

This exhibition proposes a visual journey through some of the most spectacular nocturnal landscapes on the planet and into the deepest regions of the universe. Through images of the Northern Lights, the Milky Way, the Moon, and deep-sky nebulae, the viewer discovers that the night sky is not dark and empty, but rather a dynamic, vibrant space filled with colour. The project was conceived with a dual purpose: to highlight the beauty of the cosmos and to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the night sky from light pollution. The stars, which for centuries guided humanity, are disappearing from our urban skies. Restoring the natural darkness of the night also means reclaiming a part of our scientific, cultural, and emotional heritage.
