OPENING CEREMONY ON THE NATIONAL DAY OF ROMANIAN GASTRONOMY AND WINE
On Saturday, October 5 2024, the Center for the Culture and Civilization of Taste in the Medieval Fortress of Oradea (Building I) hosted the opening of the International Salon of Photographic Art “The Vine, Wine, and the Joy of Living”, the award ceremony, and the launch of the album of the same name, published with the financial support of Summit Agro Romania and edited by Euro Foto ArtPublishing House. The album can also be browsed online on the Association’s website: https://eurofotoart.ro/via-vinul-si-bucuria-de-a-trai-2024/ The photographic art exhibition, organized by the International Association Euro Foto Art and Summit Agro Romania in partnership with the Association for the Culture and Civilization of Wine Millesime, under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (recognized by UNESCO), was composed of the accepted and awarded works from the international competition. All the images can be admired in the Galleries of the EFA Exhibition Center at the Princely Palace of the Medieval Fortress of Oradea (Building E, ground floor). The audience present at the event dedicated to the National Day of Romanian Gastronomy and Wine was greeted by the host, Dr. Eng. Patricia Maria Știrbu, President of Summit Agro Romania and the Balkans: “We wish this event to be a celebration of autumn, of harvest, of photographic art, of the vine and of wine. An artistic feast in the spirit of the blessings brought by grapes and wine. A feast of our encounter.”. Photographic artist Ștefan Tóth István, AFIAP, ESFIAP, President of AIEFA and chairman of the jury, thanked the awarded photographers and invited those present to meet the laureates: VirgilioBardossi EFIAP, MFIAP from Florence (Italy), Tamás Tóth from London (England), Mészáros Ödönfrom Budapest (Hungary), Hős Norbert from Subotica (Serbia), Tudorel Ilie from Baia Mare, and the Oradea photographers Anca Adriana-Andrea, Morvay-Szabó Edina, and Radu Gabor, who were presented with their prizes. The evening was enriched with exceptional musical moments offered by violist Thurzó Sándor József, representative of the Sola Fide Community and Cultural Association (SFKKE); lyrical artists Florina and Florin Mariș Hinsu—professors in the Music Department of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Oradea, who successfully approach various styles with a rich repertoire-and their son, Ionuț Mariș Hinsu, a second-year student at the same Faculty and a national laureate in Classical Singing, who delighted the audience with his extraordinary performance. The international exhibition, displayed across the three Galleries of the EFA Exhibition Center, will remain open to visitors until November 14, 2024, on Mondays and Wednesdays between 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Admission is free! The exhibited photographs will also be featured on the screens of public transport vehicles in Oradea, thanks to the agreement between AIEFA and OTL S.A.
