He also described the circumstances of his meeting last spring (on the occasion of his personal exhibition opening in the city of Rzeszów) with the president of the “Karaganda” Photo Club (currently residing in that city). Within the framework of this bilateral collaboration, plans are underway for a joint Romanian–Kazakh photographic art exhibition to be opened in December 2024 at the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest, dedicated to Kazakhstan’s National Day. In his speech, he emphasized: “Today we open an exhibition of high artistic value, which includes various genres of photographic art, such as: essay, creative, portrait, landscape, street, astronomical, and reportage photography. It is remarkable that photographers from Kazakhstan masterfully apply the rules of composition and lighting. Some of the photographs were staged in such a way that the viewer cannot sense it! This exhibition also demonstrates how complex the expressive language of photographic art has become”. Next, on behalf of the president of Summit Agro Romania, Dr. Eng. Patricia Știrbu, her adviser, Prof. Dorin Popa, commended both the artistic quality of the works and the key role that photographic art exhibitions organized by AIEFA and Summit Agro Romania play in promoting this visual art form worldwide in Romania, as well as bringing Romanian creators to the global stage. The musical moments of the opening were offered by the representative of the “Duo Sola Fide” Cultural Group from Oradea, violist Thurzó Sándor József, who performed three pieces from the Kazakh repertoire: Romance, The Swallow, and Aria by Akhmet Zhubanov, arranged for viola by the performer himself. The photographs will also be displayed on the screens inside Oradea’s public transport vehicles, thanks to an agreement between AIEFA and OTL SA. The exhibition will be open to the public until August 28, 2024: Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Admission is free.
