El viernes 31 de Julio se llevó a cabo la inauguración de la muestra fotográfica "SONETOS DE NORTE A SUR: UN VIAJE VISUAL POR CHILE
Esta exposición colectiva de 60 fotografías a color, fue presencial y se expuso en nuestro Centro de exposiciones FIAP. Representando a la Federación Chilena de Fotografía estuvo presente el enlace FIAP de Chile, el Sr Javier Concha y su esposa Andrea Solis del fotoclub Huachipato, también tuvimos la grata presencia de Maria Paz Lira, Alejandro Avaria, Tere Zegers y Valeria Llorente del Fotoclub Chile, autores estos últimos que conformaron parte de los autores que expusieron en la muestra. La exhibición conecta los extremos del territorio en un diálogo artístico que cruza desde las fronteras del norte hasta los confines australes, transitando de mar a cordillera para develar la inmensidad de nuestras latitudes. El proyecto surge como uno de los grandes hitos del nuevo directorio de la FCHF cuyo presidente es Elisardo Minks , con el firme propósito de reactivar la proyección internacional del arte fotográfico chileno. Su materialización es fruto de una estrecha colaboración con la Peña Fotográfica Rosarina y su Centro de Exposición Internacional FIAP en Rosario, cuyas puertas se abrieron generosamente para albergar este encuentro cultural. La convocatoria técnico-artística solicitó a los autores el envío de colecciones de paisajes compuestas por hasta cuatro obras. Un prestigioso comité curatorial internacional de la máxima jerarquía a cargo del proceso de selección - integrado por Mar Biosca (España), Carlos Gándara (Presidente de la Confederação Brasileira de Fotografía) y Emiliano Fernández (Presidente de la Federación Argentina de Fotografía) - asumió la misión de evaluar, calificar y seleccionar las mejores obras que hoy engalanan la sala de exposición. On Friday, July 31, the opening of the photographic exhibition "SONNETS FROM NORTH TO SOUTH: A VISUAL JOURNEY THROUGH CHILE" took place. This group exhibition of 60 color photographs was held in person at our FIAP Exhibition Center. Representing the Chilean Federation of Photography, FIAP's liaison for Chile, Mr. Javier Concha, was present, together with his wife, Andrea Solis, from Huachipato Photoclub. We were also pleased to welcome Maria Paz Lira, Alejandro Avaria, Tere Zegers, and Valeria Llorente from Fotoclub Chile, the latter being among the authors whose works were included in the exhibition. The exhibition connects the extremes of the territory in an artistic dialogue that stretches from the northern borders to the southernmost reaches, traveling from the sea to the mountains to reveal the vastness of our latitudes. The project emerged as one of the major milestones of the new FCHF board, chaired by Elisardo Minks, with the firm purpose of revitalizing the international projection of Chilean photographic art. Its realization is the result of close collaboration with Peña Fotográfica Rosarina and its FIAP International Exhibition Center in Rosario, whose doors were generously opened to host this cultural gathering. The technical-artistic call invited authors to submit landscape collections consisting of up to four works. A prestigious international curatorial committee of the highest level, in charge of the selection process — composed of Mar Biosca (Spain), Carlos Gándara (President of the Confederação Brasileira de Fotografía), and Emiliano Fernández (President of the Argentine Federation of Photography) — undertook the task of evaluating, grading, and selecting the best works that now adorn the exhibition hall.
