ROMAIN NERO EVENING AT SILLE SANAT SARAYI
Sille Sanat Sarayı continued its artistic activities this week without interruption. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Reha Bilir intensified online activities throughvideo conferencing, bringing together the members of Sille Sanat Sarayı withprominent figures of photographic art from Türkiye and around the world. As part of the ongoing “Tuesday Meetings,” Sille Sanat Sarayı hostedLuxembourg-based photographer Romain Nero as its guest this week. Onceagain, photography enthusiasts were brought together with an internationallyrecognized artist and expert in his field. Romain Nero is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) and alsoserves as the FIAP Patronage Officer for international photographycompetitions. As a member of the Sille Sanat Sarayı photography community, the experienced photographer engaged in a warm and friendly conversation withthe participants throughout the event. During the meeting, Romain Nero answered participants’ questions, particularlyregarding international photography competitions and FIAP distinctions. He provided clear and detailed information on many aspects of photographycompetitions, from organization and announcements to evaluation processes, results, and awards. Romain Nero also shared insights into his own photographic journey and artisticapproach, presenting examples of his work. A pleasant discussion on photographic style and creative processes took place, allowing participants togain valuable knowledge while closely observing the works of a successfulphotographer. Like other international events organized by Sille Sanat Sarayı, this meeting washeld under FIAP Auspices.
