“THE EYE OF THE WORLD – INDIA” PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION HAS OPENED
As part of its 11th anniversary celebrations, Sille Sanat Sarayı continues its project “11 Photography Exhibitions from 11 Countries in the 11th Year” with India. This specialinternational initiative aims to bring together the photographic perspectives of artists fromdifferent geographies, creating a strong platform for cultural and visual exchange. The exhibition, featuring works by some of India’s most accomplished photographers, wasopened in Sille Sanat Sarayı’s virtual exhibition hall through an online opening ceremonyheld via Zoom. The exhibition was organized under the coordination of SudipRoychoudhury, Sille Sanat Sarayı’s Country Representative for India, and presents 33 photographs by 11 photographers. Opened with the approval of FIAP Auspices, the exhibition stands out for its internationalrecognition and artistic quality and will remain open in Sille Sanat Sarayı’s virtual exhibitionhall for one year. The participating Indian photographers — Balachandder SK, Dr. Barun Kumar Sinha, Kalyan Chattopadhyay, Narendu Ghosh, Sona Beniwal, Subhas Dutta, Subrata Bysack, Sudip Roychoudhury, Suman Battacharyya, Suman Saha, and Udayan Sankar Pal — shared brief insights into their photographs during the opening and expressed theirappreciation to Sille Sanat Sarayı for organizing this meaningful international event.
