OPENING OF THE INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY ART EXHIBITION "PICTURESQUE ROMANIA"

The "Euro Photo Art" Gallery, EFA Oradea-Romania Exhibition Center within the Section of the Oradea City Museum belonging to the Museum of the Country of Crișurilor - Museum Complex has become out of capacity, on Friday March 17, 2023, at 4:00 p.m., on the occasion of the opening of the International Photographic Art Exhibition entitled "Picturesque Romania". The exhibition (launched for the first time on December 15, 2022, in the Romanian Parliament) was organized by the International Association "Euro Photo Art" (AIEFA) in partnership with Summit Agro Romania (SAROM) under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) , recognized by UNESCO. On this occasion, a selection of 72 large-scale photographs were exhibited, made by photographic artists from Saudi Arabia, Greece, Japan, the USA, Romania and Hungary, who visited and immortalized unique landscapes in Romania. Patricia Maria Ştirbu, the president of "Summit Agro" Romania, Bulgaria, Adria and the Republic of Moldova, who thanked those who facilitated the organization of this international exhibition of photographic art in Oradea. "Throughout the 25 years of activity in Romania, the Summit Agro Company has accustomed us to innovation, uniqueness and Japanese experience in agriculture, especially in plant protection. We will continue to intensively support Romania's agriculture and Romanian farmers, with Japanese products and technology for the land and cultures of these lands, here is the land that is also a source of inspiration for photographic artists. Summit Agro Romania as a Japanese Company assumes the social responsibility to contribute to the development of culture, art and creation, which are essential in our opinion for the development of technology, science and economy for the transformation of Romania into a prosperous country. Because nature with its richness alongside people and the traditions of these places has always impressed, was, is and will be a fabulous mosaic that blends harmoniously close to perfection in rich, wonderful, unique landscapes appreciated worldwide" she emphasized in her speech Mrs. Patricia Știrbu. Next, the head of the department of the Oradea City Museum, Dr. Ionel Ciorba, thanked the artists for the exhibited photographs and expressed his belief that the exhibited works will be appreciated by the visiting public and by the tourists who will visit this exceptional exhibition. The president of AIEFA and the curator of this project, the photographer artist Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP especially welcomed the photographic artists who arrived from Romania (Baia Mare and Cluj Napoca), respectively those who arrived from Hungary (Budapest, Berettyóújfalu, Szolnok and Giula) . The translator of the event Bozsodi Orsolya read in English the message of the photographers participating in the exhibition Paul Bock (USA), Riverside, California, USA creative member AIEFA, Ryuichi Tazaki, president of the "Japanese Danube" Photoclub in Yokohama (JP), Lázár Eszter Emese creative member AIEFA of Crete, Greece and Najla Angawi President of the World Photography Group, Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). The Romanian and Hungarian versions of the messages were distributed to the participants in printed form. The musical moments of the opening were offered by the representative of the Christian and Cultural Group "Duo Sola Fide" from Oradea, the viola artist Thurzó Sándor József who performed several pieces by the composers from which the exhibiting photographers come: "El helwa di" by Sayed Darwish (Saudi Arabia), "Din drâmboaie" by Hilda Jerea (RO), "Aria" by C. Nottara (GR), "Menuetto" by Macalik Alfréd (HU) and Wa Habibi by Wassim Njeim (JP). All exhibits will be able to be viewed on the screens of modern means of transport in our municipality, thanks to the protocol signed with AIEFA and OTL SA. The international exhibition entitled "Picturesque Romania" will remain available to tourists and the visiting public until 19.04.2023, from Tuesday to Sunday between 09:00 and 17:00 (closed on Mondays).
