This exhibition, “Reaching the Moon,” features the work of twenty Russian photographers from the “Star Path” Club.
It was shown in San Sebastian , Spain, during November. The club was founded by Anna Bazhenovskaya to unite people who love photography and who share a common vision: seeing the beauty in simple, everyday things. The photographs focus on timeless, universal values like: * Love for children * Love for nature and homeland * Kindness, home, and roots
The members, constantly working to improve their skills, use photography as a vital tool to capture and preserve important, fleeting moments—especially those involving maternal love and children's smiles—and to share their positive vision of the world. The style is ethereal and poetic, primarily featuring women and children. The title, “Reaching the Moon,” is a metaphor for the pure, high ideals and dreams of childhood and feminine energy. The project's main message is that beauty and light are not distant ideals; they are already present in the simple moments of life that photography captures, such as a child's smile or a mother's tenderness.
