The FIAP Exhibition Centre is part of the Indonesia Institute of The Arts Yogyakarta
premises and is located in Pandeng Gallery (https://galeripandeng.isi.ac.id), Photography Department, Faculty of Recorded Media Arts (https://fsmr.isi.ac.id/) The Indonesia Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta (https://isi.ac.id) is the biggest and the best Indonesia’s art college located in Yogyakarta, it’s a state university and provides visual, performing, and media arts courses in traditional Indonesian and modern international styles. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs under its three faculties: Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Recorded Media Arts (Photography; Film & Television; Animation) and Faculty of Performing Arts.   We hope Pandeng Gallery as FIAP Exhibition Center will be part of learning process how art photography evolves around the world, by exhibiting a collection of photographic images with diverse subjects, lectures, seminars about the ongoing exhibition as well as exhibition exchange with other FIAP Exhibition Center in different country. As we are all aware, exhibition in academic place is prestigious, we believe Pandeng gallery in Indonesia Institute of The Arts Yogyakarta will have added value to the FIAP Exhibition Center, it does not only serve exhibitions, collections, education, and communication, but also motivation and inspiration to our society, especially youth artists in Photography Department.   Faculty of Recorded Media Art’s vision is to make the gallery to be a internasional level exhibition centre in technology and art professional aspect in the next 5 years. The annual program of JMKK (Road to Creative Media) exhibition of Photography and Videography had been held since 2009 in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Malaysia, VCA – University of Melbourne, Canberra Institute of Technology (ICT), Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and Eszterhazy Karoly University in Hungary.
