27 guardians of the ancient history of Ukraine
Photographic Art Association of Transcarpathia and the Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Local Lore named after T. Lehotsky have presented in The Carpathian Exhibition Center of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) the photo exhibition "Castles of Ukraine. 27 Appearances" on occasion of the 31st anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine. Four Ukrainian photographers, represented by Serhii ZYSKO, Oleksandr KOVSHUN (EFIAP/s), Volodymyr PYLYPYUK, Volodymyr NORBA (AFIAP), took part in this photographic and historiographical project, which reveals to the viewer the variety of fortifications and their ruins, which also serve as guardians of the ancient history of Ukraine.
The project is aimed at finding and attracting charitable funds for the reconstruction of monuments of Ukrainian cultural heritage. As The Carpathian Exhibition Center of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) is the only photo-art platform of Ukraine, which in the conditions of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of our country, being integrated into the world cultural community, presents cultural and artistic projects, influencing the decisions of leading institutions and patrons.
The exhibition will last until September 24, 2022.
